Courage in Service. Strength in Resilience.
Valor Resilience Group is a faith-based, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned consulting firm dedicated to strengthening emergency management, public safety, industrial safety, and organizational preparedness. Our mission is to build stronger, safer, and more resilient communities through professional consulting, leadership development, training, planning, and operational support services.
VRG’s comprehensive 11-pillar resilience framework delivers complete, standards-based capability across the entire lifecycle of preparedness, response, continuity, and recovery. Every service aligns with nationally recognized frameworks—including NFPA, FEMA NIMS/ICS, OSHA, MIOSHA, ISO 22301, EPA, and HSEEP—ensuring consistency, compliance, interoperability, and mission-ready execution.
Rooted in faith, integrity, and real-world emergency response experience, VRG equips agencies, municipalities, fire departments, industry partners, and faith-based organizations with the tools, leadership, and operational clarity needed to assess risk, strengthen capability, and operate confidently in today’s increasingly complex environment. Our work is centered on service, guided by purpose, and grounded in the belief that resilient communities are built through preparation, leadership, and a commitment to protecting others.
A Mission Shaped by a Lifetime of Service
Valor Resilience Group was founded by Wilton “Butch” Terry II, whose more than three decades of combined military and fire-service leadership shaped a simple belief: service is a calling, and resilience is a responsibility. His experience across uniformed service, emergency operations, and frontline public safety formed the foundation of VRG’s mission and values.
VRG was created to carry that calling forward. Our work reflects the principles forged through years of fireground leadership, emergency response, and community service—courage, integrity, preparation, and faith. These values define how we operate, how we teach, how we support our clients, and how we serve those who serve others.
We believe resilience is built long before a crisis—through leadership, training, planning, safety culture, and the systems that protect people and operations. VRG exists to help communities, agencies, and organizations develop those strengths with professionalism, humility, and a mission-ready mindset.
Our commitment is simple:
To prepare leaders. Strengthen organizations. Protect communities.
And to do it all with faith as the foundation and service at the core.
